She had a passion for reading and especially loved being involved in Bible Study. Politics were also of interest to her and enjoyed discussing them with friends and family.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Norma Schmitt.
She is survived by daughter, Karyn Sanchez of Plano, TX; son, Eric Otta of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Kara Neuman, Colton Sanchez, Jimmy Sanchez all of Plano, TX, Kylie Otta, River Otta both of Arlington, TX; brother, Michael Schmitt and wife Paula of Dallas, TX.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Aloma Decker for her day to day care of their mother and the many years of friendship that they shared.
A memorial service will be held for Cathy on Friday, July 15, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Moore Bowen Road Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX 76016. Pastor Ray Shannon will be officiating the service.
