It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Casey Dillon Clark, on January 13, 2025, at the age of 26. He was a son, a grandson, a brother, an uncle and a friend. He left us far too soon, succumbing to the struggles of addiction that he fought valiantly, but ultimately could not overcome.
Casey was a light in our lives, a kind-hearted and sometimes goofy young man whose infectious smile could brighten any room. He had an uncanny ability to make people feel at ease, offering a comforting presence to those who needed it most. Whether it was through his quirky antics or just his genuine care for others. Casey never met a stranger, and had a way of making everyone feel loved and important. His hugs were legendary—long, warm, and full of love. We often joked at the fact that he was the only “hugger” in the family, but when you were in his arms, you felt safe and loved, a moment of peace in a chaotic world.
Through many changes in his life, the one thing that stayed the same was his love for the Lord and his constant, continued study of the Bible. Though he faced many challenges in life, he always carried with him a hopeful spirit and an unwavering belief in the goodness of others. Though we are devastated by his loss, we find comfort in knowing that his kind soul is at peace with the Lord.
Casey leaves behind his loving parents, Lisa and Ricky Clark, devoted sister and brother-in-law, Ryann and Chad Vanoven, his brother, Shelby Clark, as well as his cherished niece, Annabelle, and nephew, Paxton. He is also deeply mourned by Earla Joyce Smith, his Nana, with whom he shared a special bond. Casey was predeceased by his grandfather, Dillon Smith (Papa), his grandmother, Myrle Clark (Mimi) whose memories he held dear. While we mourn the loss of his bright spirit, we are grateful for the memories we shared and the love he gave us all.

Though he is no longer with us, his smile, his love, and his goofy spirit will forever remain in our hearts. Rest in peace, sweet Casey. You will be missed more than words can express.
