Cacie Dalaine Smith

Cacie Dalaine Smith, 49, of Burleson, Texas, passed from this world on June, 20, 2022. She was born December 25, 1972 to Terry and Joy Logan of Fort Worth. In 1996, she married Torey Smith at Handley Church of Christ in Ft. Worth, Texas. They shared 25 years together and have two beautiful daughters, Reagan, 13 and Riley 11.

Cacie fought a fierce battle against a rare and aggressive cancer, always with a smile on her face and an encouraging word. She was a devoted wife and mother, always putting Torey and the girls first. You could find her helping at school, sewing last minute costumes, baking, cooking meals for others in need, driving kids around, and willing to drop everything to play or provided for the girls. She was loved by so many, and others often commented on what a wonderful mother she was.

Cacie graduated from Eastern Hills High School in 1991 and went on to marry her best friend, Torey Smith. She became a Pharmacy Technician and worked several years at Meadowbrook Pharmacy. In 2000, they moved to Dresden, Tennessee, where she worked for Bob’s Pharmacy. After returning to Texas in 2005, they welcomed two beautiful daughters whom she then devoted all her time and love to.

During this past year, Cacie’s mother, Joy, was by her side, encouraging her, treating her pain and above all watching over Reagan and Riley. Our prayers were answered that she did not know how soon she was leaving them, as this burden may have been too much to bear. She was her mother’s only daughter which created a special bond.

Cacie was a member of Rendon Church of Christ, and we are assured that she is in Heaven fully whole and without pain.

Cacie is survived by her husband, Torey, daughters, Reagan and Riley, her mother, Joy Logan, brothers Carey and wife Ginger, Chad and Cameron, mother and father in-law, Debby and Toney Smith, brother in-laws, Tod and wife Brandy, Toney II and wife Michelle, two nieces, Bailey and Mackenzie Logan and six nephews Dylan, Cade, Travis, Trae, Toney III and Trevor.

Cacie was preceded in death by her father, Terry Logan.

A graveside service for Cacie will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 9:00am in Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76012.
