Bradley D. Bush, 57, went to be with the Lord while surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 2, 2014 after battling cancer since July, 2013. There will be a family visitation Thursday, February 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 7 at 11 a.m. at Lamar Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas.
Brad was born in Paris on May 21, 1956 to A.D. and Ann Landers Bush. After graduating from Paris High School in 1974, he was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds and played for their farm team, the Billings Mustangs. Brad later played for the Seguin Toros, then returned to Paris to continue his education at Paris Junior College.
He married Sherry Ratliff on December 10, 1977. Brad began a career with Oncor Electric Delivery in 1979 in Denison, Texas. Through the years, his job took him to Gainesville, Killeen, Copperas Cove, Bryan, Arlington and other locations in the DFW Metroplex, and finally to the Sherman/Paris district where currently worked. Brad loved baseball, hunting, fishing and singing in the church choir, but nothing was more important to him than spending time with his family.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law Leonard Ratliff. He is survived by his wife, Sherry; sons, Casey, and wife Candace; Cody, and wife Heather; Caleb, and fiancé Laney Haschke; his granddaughters Cadie, Kaitlyn and Chloe and his mother-in-law Eva Ratliff.
