Billie Gresham

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014 at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Drive, in Arlington. Rev. Bobby Bridges, pastor of Mayfield Road Baptist Church will officiate.

She was born Billie Brady on January 25, 1924 in Cisco, Texas, a daughter of Benard Oliver Brady and Clara Ruby Jemeyson Brady. Billie married Edward Gresham on August 7, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas. She worked for the Arlington Independent School District in the cafeteria until retiring in 1983. She enjoyed sewing and staying the summers in Red River, New Mexico. Billie was a member of the Arlington Baptist Temple for 47 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Billie is survived by her husband of 60 years, Edward F. Gresham of Arlington; one daughter, Denise Roe and husband Dwight of Arlington; one sister, Diane Pinder and husband Arthur Gene of Vinton, Louisiana; and one grandson, Stephen Roe of Arlington.
