A Time To Be Born……….It was on the nineteenth day of May in the year of 1945 when God brought forth His angel to do His will and care for others.
A Time To Be Educated……….Fort Worth, Texas, the place where Betty would receive her education. She graduated from I M Terrell High School with the Class of 1963. She went on to receive her license as a vocational nurse at St Joseph Hospital.
A Time For Worship…………At an early age, Betty accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. She was a devoted member of New Fellowship Church, under the leadership of Pastor Patrick J. Diggs.
A Time For Courtship……….As Betty navigated her way through life, she crossed the path of the love of her life, the late Charles Henry Russell, Sr. After a period of courtship, they united in holy matrimony for over 40 years and NOW REUNITED in after life.
A Time For Work………Betty worked as an LVN throughout her life for several different hospitals as well as instructed at Tarrant County College in the nursing field.
A Time To Die…….On Wednesday, June 28, 2023, after a prolonged illness, Betty Louise Sanders-Russell earned her wings, basked in God’s glory as she returned home to be at rest.
Those Left To Cherish Her Memories……..her loving children; two sons, Steven Sanders Sr. (Vanessa) and Charles Russell, Jr. (Anmondrell); one daughter, Robin Russell; one brother, Bennie Wilcox, Jr.; two sisters, Opal Wilcox and Althea Davis (Raymond, Sr); six grandchildren, Steven, Jr., Trevoy, Mickala, Charles III, Amiyah, James; two great grandchildren, Christian and Summer and a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life for Betty will be held Monday, July 3, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
