Bert Warren Marks

Visitation: Mon, May 18, 2015, 4 to 8 pm, Moore Bowen Road Chapel. Funeral Service: Tues, May 19, 2015 at 12pm, Moore Bowen Road Chapel with burial to follow at DFW National Cemetery at 2pm.

Bert was born on May 10, 1926 to William and Ruby Marks in Wortham, Texas. He was a graduate of Wortham High School and a Korean War Veteran. In Dec. 1951 he Married Dorothy Marks. Bert was a hard worker and worked in the oil industry for 40 years. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling, crossword puzzles and his animals.

Those preceding him in death are his parents, wife Dorothy, son Kenny Marks, grandchild Heather, sisters Christine Norman and Polly Dalrymple and brother Paul Marks.

Survivors: Children; Gary Marks, Karen Maheu, David Marks, Curtis Marks. Grandchildren; Sterling, Skylar, Spencer, Taylor, Deidre Santiago, Monica, Brittany, David, Oliver, Sarah, Joshua and Josiah and many great grandchildren; Siblings: Peggy Keller, Grover Marks, Shirley Gilbert and Lowell Marks, along with a host of extended family members.
