Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home.
Bernice was born in St. Louis and was a fan of both the Texas Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals. She was happy to get to see her two favorite teams in the World Series. Bernice was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Hawaii where she met her husband, Thomas Jack Parker. Bernice was proud to be a former Queen of the Daughters of the Nile.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years, Thomas Jack Parker.
Survivors: Son, Tom Parker and wife, Cathy; daughter, Cheryl Parker; grandchildren, Charles, Autumn, Jeffrey, Thomas, Michael, Sarah and Robyn; and nine great-grandchildren.
