Barbara, also known as Nana, she brought joy, laughter, love, and light to everyone who knew her. She was born in Lubbock, TX and raised in Arlington, TX where she met the love of her life, Rick. She was always quick to laugh and everyone who knew Barbara knew that they were loved. She loved her family, holiday gatherings, The Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, Mexican food, and spending time with her dog, Kash. She was most proud of her 44-year marriage to Rick, her children, and grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Rick Mooneyham; their children, Ricky Mooneyham and wife, Kerri and Brandi Mooneyham Sanchez and husband, Ivan; her grandchildren, Hannah Sanchez, Maverick Sanchez, Kylee Mooneyham, and Harper Mooneyham; her sister, Donna Miller; brothers, Barry Long, Billy Long and wife, Jeannie, Steven Long and wife, Rebecca, and Charlie Long and wife, Yolanda; her nieces, Stephanie, April, Amy, Kayla, Haley, Caressa and Britlyn; her nephews, Calen, Christian, C.J., Breylin, Xavier, Bryson, Cayne, and Corban; and her best friend, Kathy Long Godsey.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Willie and Wanda Long; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, RL and Peggy Mooneyham; her brothers-in-law, Heinz Miller and Rodney Mooneyham; and her nephew, Isaiah Forman.
Barbara will be missed dearly by all her friends and family. They know this isn’t goodbye, it’s we’ll see you later. “Be completely humble, gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love.” Ephesians 4:2
