Arthur Cears Stephens

Funeral Service: 1 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2022 at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, 76012. A visitation will begin at 12 p.m. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens.

Arthur was born April 24, 1928 in Whitewright, Texas to Joe and Bonnie Stephens. He married the love of his life Ella Sanders on March 18, 1946 and they had many happy years together until her passing in 2004. Arthur was a veteran of the United States Army and a dedicated Mason for over 50 years. He was a production manager for Good Times and retired after many years of service.

Arthur was a hard worker all of his life. He always made sure that his family was provided for and committed himself to fulfilling his family's needs, whether it be making a garden for his wife or working in his woodshop.

Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Stephens, and grandson, David Upchurch.

Survivors: children, Brenda Chapman and Clay Stephens, and wife, Debra; grandchildren, Paul Upchurch, Jim Johnston, and Carl Johnston; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
