Ariel Caballero, 77 passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. He is now with his beloved wife of 51 years, Teresa. Memorial service, Monday, July 21, 2014, 11am at St. Joseph's Catholic Community, 1927 SW Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington, Texas. Visitation, one hour prior to memorial service at St. Joseph's. Ariel was retired from the City of Arlington where he worked as a public works inspector. He was proud to call Arlington his home. Ariel was born in Tarandacuao Gto, Mexico and moved with his parents and siblings to the Dallas area. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. One of his hobbies was working on classic Volkswagens. Ariel was happy to live in America, so much so that he became a naturalized citizen. Ariel served as an usher for his church and was part of the Tuesday men. Survivors include: daughters Geneva Salazar, Louisa Randolph and husband Randy; grandchildren Michael, Christina, Sonia, Sara, Rachel and Nicole; 15 great-grandchildren, numerous brothers and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
