Annasophia was born in Brenham, Texas on May 14, 1943. She graduated from Eastern Hills High school. She was married to Waylon Mouzon Reese and was later divorced after having two children.
Annasophia worked for Mr. Jackosn at Fort Worth Steel and Machinery Company as an Executive Secretary. She also worked for the City of Fort Worth in various positions.
She was a member of the Senior Citizen’s Center of White Settlement and resided at West Side Campus of Care for the past 10 years and served on the Resident Council as President for five years. She was active in all of the activities at the care center.
She had a passion for her family, the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, crocheting, diamond painting, coloring and word find puzzles. She was very active at her church and served in many roles at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Fort Worth.
Annasophia was preceded in death by her parents Herman Lewis Acker, Sr. and Maud Azel Fitt Acker. She is survived by her son, Gary Reese, daughter Joan Morton (John), brother, Herman Acker, Jr., granddaughter Rayanna Morton, grandson, Nicholas Morton, nephew, Mike Acker, niece, Michelle Williams (Mark), and numerous great nieces and nephews and extended family.
