Born on May 27, 1928 to Michael and Marie Scotto in Brooklyn, New York, Angelina grew up in a large Italian family where family and community meant everything.
One day, many years ago, Angelina met the man that would become the love of her life, Clinton Walker. While on duty with the United States Coast Guard, Lee and Clinton’s paths crossed, and the rest is history. Married in 1951, they soon moved to Texas and raised a beautiful family.
Lee worked as a switchboard operator for the telephone company as a young woman in New York City before moving to Texas with her new husband to start a family. She was devoted to her husband and children, and nothing brought her more joy that to be by their sides and support them. During her free time, she enjoyed writing, volunteering, and was involved in her community. For many years, she was active in civic associations in Arlington and Fort Worth, Texas.
Angelina had a strong faith throughout her life. She prayed often, and thanked her Lord until her last moments on this earth.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Marie Scotto; her brother, Ferdinand Scotto; and her son, Clinton Walker, Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Clinton Walker, Sr. of Fort Worth; her son, Bryan Walker of Arlington; her grandson, Andrew Walker and his wife Kailea, along with her great-granddaughter Stephanie of Midland, TX; her brothers, John Scotto and Robert Scotto, each of New York; as well as other family members and friends.
