Amy Elizabeth DiStefano “Amo D” passed away after a short, but devastating illness on January 1st, 2018 in Arlington, TX at the age of 41. Amy was born on November 28th in Houston, TX to Dr. Alfred & Laura DiStefano.
She graduated from Nolan Catholic College Preparatory in 1994 and received a degree in Visual Arts from Pine Manor College in Newton, MA in 1999. After moving back to Texas, Amy began working as a freelance Graphic designer. She was a lifelong supporter for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Arlington Cancer Research foundation & the ASPCA. Amy was a devoted daughter, sister and loving Aunt to her 3 nieces and nephew. She was a free spirit that had a passion for arts & crafts, Star Wars, feminism and was a lover of all animals.
Amy is survived by her parents Dr. Alfred & Laura DiStefano, of Arlington, TX, siblings Michelle Siegel (David Siegel) of Round Rock, TX, Lauren Taylor (Shawn Taylor) of Arlington, TX, Michael DiStefano (Nadia DiStefano) of Arlington, TX, 3 nieces & nephew, Avery Siegel, Christopher Taylor, Harper & Emerson DiStefano and her faithful & loving dog kids Molly & Daisy.
She is preceded in death by her brother Matthew DiStefano.
A visitation for Amy will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM, at Moore Funeral Home. Followed by an interment at Moore Memorial Gardens.
