William J. Mulligan

of Arlington Heights, IL

William Joseph Mulligan, 84, was born on January 18, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois to William and Dorothy (nee Kiley) Mulligan. He died Thursday, July 7, 2022, at his home.

William was employed with Rand McNally from 1974 until 1997. At the time of his retirement, he was the Vice President of Sales of the DocuSystems Group Among many organizations and activities, William was a former president of the Marquette Park Terrace Association.

William is survived by his wife Patricia (nee Rose) Mulligan; his children Kathi (Scott) Mulligan Sutker, Mary (Michael) Mulligan Martini, and William (Maureen Dempsey) Mulligan; his grandchildren, Maeve, Grace, and William Mulligan, Margaret Martini, and Dorothy Delaney Sutker; and his sister Susan Mulligan Schmitt, uncle and great-uncle to many.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother-in-law William Schmitt.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, July 11, 2022, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004, and from 9:00 am until 9:45 am, Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL. Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment is private.
