Veronica "Roni" Durbin

Veronica “Roni” Durbin was born November 19, 1933 in Norwich, England to Cecil and Catherine (nee Phelan) Smith. She died April 12, 2018 at Manor Care of Elk Grove Village.

Veronica is survived by her children Martin (Diane) Durbin and Theresa (Jerry) Volkman; her grandchildren Kyle, Ryan, Heather (Eric) and Kimberly (Travis); and by her sister Margaret.

Roni is preceded in death by her husband John “Jay” Durbin; her sisters Catherine, Teresa, Eileen and by her parents.

Visitation Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Prayers 10:00 AM, Monday, April 16, 2018 at Glueckert Funeral Home to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 135 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich, for mass at 11:00 AM. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
