Ted E. Pavoris

Ted Pavoris, 80, a resident of Rolling Meadows, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2022. He was born December 29, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to Peter and Georgia (Stamatis) Pavoris.

Ted is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jane and his loving children, Darren (Donna), Todd (Laura), Christopher (Nicole). Blessed with 8 grandchildren, Alexis (Adam Cyr-fiancée), Emily, Jake, Aiden, Madisen, Trent, Nicholas and Natalie Pavoris. Also great grandchildren Kennedy and Myles Cyr. He also leaves brother Ed Pavoris, sister Sylvia (Larry Solomon), and brother-in-law, Allen Gareau along with nephews and many cousins.

Ted graduated from Pershing High School in Detroit and earned a BS in Education from Central Michigan University in 1964 where he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity and the CMU football team. Upon graduating he and Jane, who married in 1963, moved to Akron, Ohio where he began his business career in sales with B F Goodrich. He became the youngest District Sales Manager for Goodrich when relocating to the Chicago area in 1970. He also held Management positions with Rehau Plastics Corp and Richco Plastics Co. Ted fulfilled his dream of owning his own business when he started All Electronics Hardware, Inc in 1993 which his son, Darren now operates.

Ted enjoyed coaching his sons’ baseball teams, golf, travel, playing cards and being humorous. Always, first and foremost in his life was being with his loving family whom he adored. He loved all the fun times with friends.

Ted touched many lives and will be deeply missed. His steadfast love, strength, and support will live on forever in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations would be appreciated for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Residential Health Hospice Foundation, or The Multiple System Atrophy Research Fund.

He was also a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palatine.

Funeral services and burial will be private. There will be a celebration of life next year in 2023.
