As a teenager I remember Sue's visits to Ireland with John, Rose and Mamie.  I was delighted when Sue and Terry  attended my wedding in 2003. Prior to that I visited Chicago with my two friends Oliver and Lorraine in mid 90's and stayed  at Sue and Terry's home.  We had such a wonderful time.  Sue was so kind and welcoming -she didn't have to say anything- her  smile said it all!
Thinking of you all and hoping you find comfort during this sad time. May Sue's kind soul rest in peace with her beloved Terry
Mary Mc Loughlin (Gillespie)

Sue was my close friend and neighbor for over 50 years. She was brilliant, creative, generous, loving, caring,  non-judgemental,  with a sense of humor. At one time she wanted to fire her cleaning lady but needed her too badly. Sue invited me to join some groups, but they required far too much work or study. I miss Sue; she has a beautiful family.

Susie will always remain young and vibrant in my heart and memory.  My deepest condolences to all of her beautiful family.  

Sue, was an outstanding administrator, teacher, mentor, and child advocate. It was an honor to work with Sue with her infectious laugh and humor.  We as an educational community and friend will miss her.

I have so many fond memories of Sue, its hard to narrow it down. Mom & Sue met when I was 2, so your family has been part of my life always. She was so generous and loving to our entire family and a great friend of my Mom's. I can't think of Door County without all the memories of time spent together there. I'm sure she is thrilled to be reunited in heaven with Terry, but we will miss her very much. Love & comfort to you all - Beth, Michael, Susie & Jennie- and your families at this difficult time.

Sue was instrumental in helping to start an interfaith women's group in the northwest suburbs.  The group eventually became known as Women in Search of Peace (WISP).  I was always grateful for Sue's generosity, kindness, and excellent insights.  May she continue to smile upon us and shower us with inspiration and generosity.  We will carry you in our hearts.

Sue was a bright and warm delight and a dear friend of mine for 62 years, ever since we met at Mundelein College.

Norm and I are so sorry to hear about the passing of Sue.  Personally, from our Churchill Gang days to district office, I learned so much from Sue. She was a wonderful teacher and administrator who also took the time to ask about your family, your life outside of your job. She cared about you. We shared recipes ( her blintzes are a family favorite) and our love of Door County. I will never forget the twinkle in her eye and her hearty laugh. Sue holds a special place in my heart. Thinking of your family at this difficult time.

I feel so lucky to have had your Mom and Dad in my life.  I will always have the happy and joyful memories we had growing up.  Little known fact, Sue and I were briefly roommates back in the mid 60's :)  Sending all my love to the McLean Four and their families.
