Shams was the beloved husband of Gladis Asghar, loving father of Ruth Asghar, Rebecca and Hector Rodriguez, Arooj Asghar, Sunny, and Stephanie Asghar, Suneil Asghar, and cherished grandfather of Clint Logan Rodriguez. Shams is survived by 4 brothers and sisters and was preceded in death by 3 siblings.
He will be remembered for his grand presence at family events, passion for dancing, fashion style, and laughter, alongside being the best father to his kids and with compassion to help people in need.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 4-8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 8, at 12 noon at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E. Euclid Avenue in Arlington Heights.
