Peter W. Schmidt 75, was born on November 14, 1948 to the late Hans and late Else Schmidt and passed away February 27th, 2024. Peter was a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army. Peter was the beloved brother of Linda (Mario) Estevez and Frank W. Schmidt; loving uncle of Lauren Estevez; dear father of Stephanie Valdez; fond grandfather of Jana and Joshua Valdez.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Peter that will be held on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 from 9am until 12pm at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 East Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004 where a luncheon will follow, and interment will take place at 2pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
