Nancy L. Ladendorf

Nancy L. Ladendorf was born April 24, 1948 in Chicago to Thor and Linnea Anderson. She died July 1, 2023 at her home in Arlington Heights.

Nancy grew up in Chicago and attended Notre Dame High School for girls in Chicago, Illinois. Upon graduation, she joined the workforce. After she married Lyle Ladendorf in 1979, she worked at ADP and finally at Abbott Interfasts LLC in Wheeling, IL where she retired in 2016.

Nancy loved reading, maintaining and sitting in her yard and garden, traveling to Disney World and Door County, her beloved dog, Amber, and her granddaughters. Nancy will be best remembered for having a meticulously cleaned and beautiful home, like a museum, as well as having the world’s best hamburger recipe that no one, not even her son, could replicate.

She maintained close relationships with those in her life and celebrated the lives of her family, especially her granddaughters. She was a generous, kind, and loving woman who put the needs of those who loved her first before herself.

Nancy is survived by her husband Lyle Ladendorf; her son Andrew (Karen) Ladendorf; her granddaughters Laura and Emily.

Visitation Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL from 12:00 PM until the time of funeral service at 4:00 PM. Interment private.
