Born: December 7, 1960 Died: October 21, 2024
Mary Margaret Loch (née McCall), a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, was born in Arlington Heights, Illinois, to John and Beverly McCall. As the fifth of eight children in a tight-knit Irish Catholic family, Mary grew up surrounded by love, faith, and a deep sense of community.
Mary pursued her passion for creativity studying Fashion Design in college, and later devoted her life to raising her six children in Cary, Illinois, alongside her husband, Raymond Loch. With a nurturing spirit, Mary made a lasting impact on her community. Whether serving as a religious education teacher, cheerleading and pom coach, soccer coach, or school volunteer, her energy and commitment to helping others never wavered. She found great fulfillment in her role as a special education teacher’s aide, where her love for the children shone through in every interaction. During the COVID pandemic, she stepped up as a frontline screener, contributing to safety and well-being in her community. Her joy in nurturing young minds extended far beyond her own family, touching the lives of many along the way.
Mary’s legacy is carried forward by her children: Archibald Loch (Kiley Loch), Ashley Loch, Alexander Loch (Sara Loch), Alizabeth Loch, Abiegail Loch (Jean-Paul Guidry), and Adam Loch. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Arthur, Austyn, and Ava Loch.
She is survived by her siblings, Jeff McCall, Kevin McCall, Christopher McCall, Robert McCall, Annie Sadowski, Charles McCall, and Joseph McCall, who will forever remember her boundless kindness and warmth.
Mary’s memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and her spirit will continue to live on in the love and faith she instilled in her family and community.
