Marjorie L. Mc Leod of Wheeling was born November 17, 1921 in Chicago to the late Clarence and Irene (nee Figg) Akerlund and passed away August 11, 2012 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Marjorie was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth; loving mother of Penelope A. (Edward) Liptak and Randall Mc Leod; cherished grandmother of Jennifer Leigh, Christina (Mick) Riess, Andy (Laura) Liptak and David (Anita) Liptak; great-grandmother of 10 and dear sister of Patricia Bechtel. Funeral service and interment will be held Wednesday August 15, 2012 at 10:30 am at Memory Gardens Cemetery 2501 E. Euclid Avenue in Arlington Heights.
