Madeline was born on August 22nd, 1945, to Robert and Mary McCormack in Omaha, NE. She attended Duchenne Academy of Omaha, NE and graduated from Barat College of the Sacred Heart in Lake Forest, IL where she met her lifelong best friends Margaret Pither and Ellen Bush. She married Matthew McBride Jr. in 1968 and had Matthew III, Brian & Megan. The couple divorced in 1976 and Maddie moved to Arlington Heights to raise the kids and begin her career in the field of computer technology. She poured her life into her three children, making sure they were loved and well-rounded. Maddie was full of energy and determination while raising the kids and managing a successful career. As the kids grew older, she loved attending their sporting events, cleaning, and organizing everything. Later in life Maddie also loved spending time with her grandkids and taking them to the pool, movies, baking, and Broadway shows. When they would have sleepovers at Nonnies, she would play games, watch Disney movies, or build legos with them and then sing them to sleep with Irish lullabies like, "Oh Danny Boy."
Madeline worked at Network General, Wang, Trusted Information Systems along with Macafee, but would ultimately retire and marry Michael Bisulca. The two loved to travel, golf, make new friends, dine, and drink wine together. They retired in Sarasota, FL and joined the Oaks Country Club. Madeline made dear friends at the Oaks where she was very active with golf & bridge groups, she also helped to create The Oaks Cookbook and was chairwoman of the Women's Club along with many other activities. Madeline touched so many with her loving, energetic, outgoing, strong, and generous spirit that was brave, especially in her fight with cancer. She reflected with us how so many of you reached out to share your love, thoughts, and prayers for her and we are forever grateful. Please know that Maddie wouldn't want you to be sad, but to go on loving others like she did all of us.
A memorial visitation will be held in Madeline's honor on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023, from 9:00 am -until the time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at St. Edna's Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL.
