We recently heard of your Mom's passing and we are very sorry for your loss.

May you find comfort in knowing she is at peace.

Mother's are very special people and their love and support can never be replaced, but we hope you find strength in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends.

You were the perfect sister-in-law and my best companion on my trip to Mayo Clinic. I could not want a better friend.

Mom, I miss you daily but am very glad that you finally got your angel wings which you earned many years ago.

I sit here trying to find the right words to express my feelings of your passing. I miss you Grandma to say the least. You can rest easy that you are no longer suffering and I pray that you are at peace now. The family is in peace that you are no longer suffering.
 
I sit her looking back on the brief 25 years that I have had the privilege to be your granddaughter. I will always love that I grew up right down the street from my nana, across the street from my favorite park when I was little. I have fond memories of you taking us to play and then I got to come inside for my favorite treat you always had in the house, orange sherbert. You were the incredibly creative and gifted seamstress who shared her passion for sewing with me as well as my mother. For that, I thank you. I never could master knitting though, as hard as you tried to teach me.
 
One of the things I have learned in life is that life doesn't go as you might have planned it.  No one plans to get cancer and you did it your way. You taught me recently in life that you should hold your head up high and make the best of it with what you have and be grateful for everything that you have, it could always be worse. You taught me that, encouraging the fierce independent streak I have, back when I was 3 and I wouldn't let you help me put on my coat until this day. It is how you deal with what God has given you and what you do with it. It reminds of something I learned. "In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on." Robert frost.
 
Even though you may have gone up to the clouds to be with the angels, and I hold onto the memories that I have of you and the stories from your children, you will always be in my heart because you have touched my life for the better and for that you will forever live in my heart.
