James "Mike" Michael Gibbs

James “Mike” Michael Gibbs was born September 17, 1947 in St. Louis, MO to James R. and Emily L. (nee Sowada) Gibbs. He died June 4, 2021 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

James is survived by his wife Jo Ann “Jody” (nee Conrad) Gibbs; his children Gwendolyn (David) Hart and Anthony (Holly) Gibbs; his grandchildren Peter (Jeremy), Jacob, James, Matthew, Melissa, Henry and Hazel; his siblings Susan (Ron) Medley, Jeneanne (Kim) Foch, Barry (Cindy) Gibbs, Becky Schmieg, Christy (Bob) Staicoff and Jeffrey (Sabrina) Gibbs.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation Monday June 7, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights and Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until the time of funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment private. The family asks that if you have not been vaccinated or if you have a compromised immune system, please where your mask and continue to social distance.
