late Michael R. Szita; loving mother of Irene and Robert;
dear daughter of the late Erno and Vilma; wonderful sister
of Vilma, and the late Erno, Margit, Pista, Gyula, and Bela;
and caring aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her
kindness was felt by everyone with whom she shared time.
Iren was born in Hungary on May 21, 1918, escaped
with her husband and several family members in 1956 during
the Hungarian Revolution and then became a proud American
citizen. She eventually settled in the Chicagoland area where
she raised her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday,
October 1st, at Memory Gardens Cemetery & Mausoleum, 2501 E.
Euclid Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL, 60004. Immediately following
services,a memorial luncheon will be held; location to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's
