

Grace Chambers, beloved wife, mom, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of October 22, 2016.Grace was born to Lucille and Bert Welker of Chicago, IL on July 18, 1943, as the youngest sibling to Bert, Jr. and Lorainne. She was raised in Edison Park as a member of St. Juliana Parish and attended St. Alvernia High School. As an adult, she worked in real estate and eventually retired from the Registration department of Northwest Community Hospital.Grace met the love of her life and best friend, Bill, while in high school. They dated for three years before marrying in 1962. In the years since, they have been devoted parents to twins Timmy and Tommy (d. 1963), Allison, and twins Patrick and Brendan.Those who know Grace were endeared by her inclination for a detailed story. Her favorite story was undoubtedly the one she created with her family, which will continue to be written into the lives of all who survive her; including her husband, Bill Chambers; her children Timothy (Kim) Chambers, Allison (Chris) Urban, Patrick (Taelor) Chambers, and Brendan (Shawna) Chambers; and her grandchildren, Lindsie, Drew, Samuel, Josh, Will, Chloe, Annie, Jack, Scarlett, and Thomas. She is preceded in death by her son, Thomas Chambers, her siblings, and her parents.Funeral Mass, 9:30 AM, Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 432 S.
