E. Robert Reynolds

E. Robert Reynolds, 87, formerly of Prospect Heights was born June 5, 1927 in Chicago to the late Edward and Marjorie Reynolds and passed away September 22, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Bob loved his job as a Regional Manager at A.H. Robbins Pharmaceutical Corp. for 40 years. Bob was a big presence with a joyful laugh, a love of jazz music, a mentor and compassionate friend. His faith sustained him in all seasons as he persevered with thankfulness. Bob was the beloved husband of Georgine E. nee Murphy; loving father of Robin (Patrick) Hafey, Mark (Pat) Reynolds, Greg (Lisa) Reynolds, Martha “Marty” (Jim) Dahl, Brian (Mary Jo) Reynolds, Mary (Dale) Schoenbeck, Dan (Eileen) Reynolds, Paul (Betsy) Reynolds, Mimi (Amanda) Barlow-Reynolds and Josh (Mary Kay) Reynolds; cherished grandfather of Mike, Jessie, Joe, Katie (Adem), Liz (Sean), Matt, Joe (Stacy), Robert, Melissa (Chas), Jake (Kim), Sarah, Anne, Jason, Patrick, Josh, Hillary, Gabrielle, Tom (Krysta) Paul (Mary Kate), Mike, Emily, Maggie, Ann Marie, Sam, Jack, Kellie, Kevin, Lauren, Erin, Liam, Miles, Nolan, Abby, Clare, Bridget and the late Jeff and great-grandfather of Eaben, Shea, Emma, Kevin, Jack, Maeve, Eva, Conor, Haley, Madalyn, Bridget, Luke, Michael, Jor-el, Olivia and Jack. Visitation will be Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 3-8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights and at St. Alphonsus Liguori Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights on Friday September 26 from 9:30 AM until time of funeral mass 10:30 AM. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
