Catherine E. Schwarz, 88 of South Elgin was born November 13, 1929 in Evanston to Maurice and Mary (nee Lyons) Steiner and passed away June 29, 2018. Catherine was the beloved wife of Charles L. Schwarz Jr.; loving mother of Timothy (Donna) Schwarz, Annette (Dana Paternostro) Schwarz, Daniel (Cheryl) Schwarz, Christopher (Beth) Schwarz Sr. and the late Mary Colleen Schwarz and the late Michael Joseph Schwarz; cherished grandmother of Kyle (Francesca) Schwarz, Kate Schwarz, Paul (Cheryl Pitts) Okashige, David (Karina) Okashige, Chelsea (RaQuan) Snead, Kirsten Schwarz, Christopher Schwarz and Katharine Schwarz; great-grandmother of Keilani, Gabriel, Charles Kyle, Keianna and Abigail and dear sister of the late Ann Marie (late John) O’Malley and the late Maurice (Jackie) Steiner Jr. Visitation will be Friday, July 6, 2018 from 3-8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights and Saturday, July 7 from 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Theresa Church, 455 N. Benton Street, Palatine.
