She died March 11, 2015 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.Barbara was devoted to her faith and family. She was a Physical Therapist at Northwest Community Hospital for over 35 years and recipient of the Employee of the Year Award. Barbara was a world traveler, with destinations that include Europe, Australia, Great Britain, Ireland and the Caribbean. She was a generous soul and loved by all.Barbara is survived by her husband Alan Leinonen; her son John Leinonen; her siblings Dr. Michael (Carrie) Sutton, Dr. Stephen (Mary) Sutton, Dr. Philip (Barbara) Sutton, Dr. Theophil Thomas Sutton, Lou (Mary Beth Hertz) Sutton, Dr. Christopher (Jennifer) Sutton, Deline (Dennis) Klein and by many nieces and nephews.Barbara is preceded in death by her parents.Visitation from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N.
