Anne Delores Frankiewicz, 97, was born July 8, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to Thomas and Anna (nee Kotlarz) Podraza. She died peacefully on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at her home.

Mrs. Frankiewicz was a loving homemaker who cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She was employed with JCPenney for over 25 years.

Anne was a devout Catholic and member of St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church for over 55 years. She enjoyed volunteering with Little Sisters of the Poor, her daily puzzles, playing cards and reading. She is a former bowler and loved swimming, she participated in Senior Swim for over 25 years.

Anne is survived by her children, Casey (Linda), Cathy (Matt) Zakula, Chuck (Teri), Cindy (Cam) Nisbet, Tony (Laura) and Anita Chapman; her 17 grandchildren, Kaz (Kristin), Zak (Sarah), Jessica, Sarah, Aaron, Alexa, Michael, Emma, Ashton, Heather (Mike), Ryan, Kate, Tom, Leah, Julia, Kayla, and Cole; and her great-grandson Theo.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester; her parents; and her 12 older siblings.

Visitation will be from 8:45 am to 9:45 am, Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at St. James Catholic Church, 831 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. A funeral mass will follow at 10:00 am. Interment will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles, IL.
