Andrzej Leja

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and husband, Andrzej Leja, on April 6, 2025, at the age of 72. He is reunited with his loving wife, Maria Leja, who preceded him in death. Together, they created a home filled with love, warmth, and joy for their children, Anna, Maggie, Andrew and grandchildren, Daman, Dev and Dylan.

Andrzej Leja was a devoted father and grandfather, whose kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He shared a deep bond with Maria Leja, and their love story continues to inspire us all. His legacy of love and family will live on through the generations.

A visitation for Andrzej will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. The funeral mass will be on Friday, April 11, 2025 starting at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 831 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016.

Z ciężkim sercem zawiadamiamy, że 6 kwietnia 2025 roku w wieku 72 lat zmarł nasz ukochany ojciec, dziadek i mąż Andrzej Leja. Ponownie spotkał się ze swoją kochającą żoną Marią Leją, która zmarła przed nim. Razem stworzyli dom pełen miłości, ciepła i radości dla swoich dzieci, Anny, Maggie, Andrew i wnuków, Damana, Deva i Dylana.

Andrzej Leja był oddanym ojcem i dziadkiem, którego dobroć, mądrość i niezachwiana miłość pozostawiły niezatarty ślad we wszystkich, którzy go znali. Łączyła go głęboka więź z Marią Leją, a ich historia miłosna nadal inspiruje nas wszystkich. Jego dziedzictwo miłości i rodziny będzie żyło przez pokolenia.

Wizytacja odbędzie się w domu pogrzebowym Glueckert (1520 North Arlington Heights Road) w dniu 10 kwietnia 2025 r. w godzinach 16:00–20:00.
