Adelaide A. Westman

Adelaide Westman was born on October 29, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to Herbert and Edna Scheck. She was called home to the Lord on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Waterford Senior Living, Waterford, WI.

Ad graduated Lake View High School in 1949. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, planning family vacations, and outings and parties with the “Roscoe Group”. Ad loved her travels far and wide - from the Northwoods in Wisconsin to Europe, Alaska and Hawaii. She was a faithful member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights for many years and more recently at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Hawthorn Woods.

Adelaide is survived by her children, Glenn H. (Linda) Westman and Jennifer Torretta; her grandchildren Shelby, Corey and Courtney; her great-grandchildren Maci and Liam; her sister Juanita Radcliffe; and her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Glenn Ray Westman; her daughter Deborah Herr; her sister Leota Scheck; and her parents.

Funeral and interment services will be private. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a future date.
