William R. Dunlap

He spent most of his years growing up in Guilford County. He married Sara Strader in 1954.

Most people knew him by Jake or "sweet Jackey-boy". Whenever he could, Jake loved to hunt and fish and just to be outdoors. He was a member of the Bassmasters Fishing Club. Jake loved nothing better than a good pig-picking and fish fry. He loved to socialize. Jake was an upholsterer for many years.

Jake is survived by his daughter, Teresa (Scott) Wood, granddaughter Kara Westmoreland, stepson, Tombo (Barbara) Stanley, and his special girls, Beth Thomas, Paula Evans and Ann Case.

Jake was predeceased by his wife, Sara, his best friend, Tadpole, grandson, Dustin, and brothers Jerry and Ralph Dunlap.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future. Memorial contributions may be made to Fairfield United Methodist Church.
