Steven James Griffith

Steven James Griffith, age 77, of High Point, North Carolina went to be with the Lord on Friday evening, December 22, 2023.

Steven was born on April 2nd, 1946, in Barre Vermont, the son of the late James Griffith and Wilma Bartlett. Steven was a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His mission started over 3 years ago. The organization Steven was a part of was Virtual Record Operations Center for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of family search. He was always willing to help the missionaries with investigating the church about smoking. He was a great father, a loving husband, and had a good sense of humor. He was always willing to give his shirt off his back if someone needed it. Preceding Steven in death are his sister Cindy LaBelle, and brother Douglas Griffith.

Surviving are his wife for over 38 years, Katie Griffith, one son, Sean Griffith, one brother, Robert Griffith, a caring, loving father to his daughter-in-law Kristen, grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Steven's life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1830 Chestnut Street, High Point, NC 27262. A date and time will be determined.

Memorials may be directed to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to the humanitarian fund.
