Stephen was the second-born son of Andra Mara Willis and Richard F. Tatum Jr. From a young age, he exhibited a warmth and kindness that endeared him to everyone he met. As a baby brother to Richard F. Tatum III and a big brother to Ashley, Allan, Jacob, and Katie, Stephen was the glue that held his family together. His siblings looked up to him, not just as a brother, but as a role model and a source of unwavering support.
Stephen’s love extended beyond his immediate family. He was a devoted uncle to Chloe Tatum, Richard F. Tatum IV, and Noah Tatum. His nieces and nephews adored him, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Stephen’s playful spirit and gentle nature made him a beloved figure in their lives.

A visitation for Stephen will be held Friday, August 16, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Archdale, 120 Trindale Rd, Archdale, North Carolina 27263. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Archdale.
Stephen will be laid to rest in Guil-Rand Memorial Park, 1550 NC Hwy 62 West, High Point, North Carolina 27263.
