Robert Glenn Jacobs

Mr. Jacobs was born in Loudon, TN to Robert Benjamin and Anna Lou Hyde Jacobs. Mr. Jacobs served his country in the U. S. Army and was owner and operator of Robert Jacobs Knitting. He was a member of New Grace Baptist Church in Thomavsille.

Surviving are his wife Daisy Hill Jacobs of the home; two daughters: Sandra Gale Whisnant of Archdale, Sherry Lewis and husband Steve of N. Myrtle Beach, SC, and a step-daughter; Suzanne Fowler and husband Sam of Winston Salem. Mr. Jacobs has one son, Robert Lee Jacobs and wife Etta of North Dakota and one step-son David McAlpin of Thomasville. There are three sisters: Georgie Maxine Linville of Greensboro, Sharon Hill of High Point, and Ruby Jennings of Thomasville and one Brother, Colbert Jacobs of Thomasville and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Graveside service will be conducted Friday at 3:00 p.m. in Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Mr. Jacobs will remain at Sechrest Funeral Service in Archdale until taken to the cemetery Friday at 2:30 p.m. The family will speak with friends following the service at the cemetery.
