Mrs. Lysaght was born September 24, 1932 in Delaware County Pennsylvania to Joseph and Mary Wright Carle. She had been a resident of this area since moving here from Georgia ten years ago. Mrs. Lysaght was a devoted homemaker and loving wife and mother to her family and was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She will always be admired and remembered for her ability to do beautiful work in quilting.
On June 10, 1954 she married John Jennings Lysaght who survives of the home.
Also surviving are daughters: Duveen Woolbright, husband D. Boyce of Spartanburg, SC; Sharon Densten, husband Don of Clemmenton, NJ; Renee Delaney, husband Joe of Frostburg, Maryland; and Valerie Conigiliaro, husband Jim of Long Island, NY. Mrs. Lysaght has three sons; John Lysaght, Jr. and wife Agnes of Mantua, NJ; Joseph Lysaght and wife Donna of Azle, Texas and James Lysaght and wife Kirsten of Trinity. Mrs. Lysaght has one special “sister”, Ann Moore of DeWitt, NY and twenty-two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 9th at 1:00 p.m. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church by the Reverend Fr. Joseph C. Zuschmidt, O.S.F.S. as celebrant. Inurnment will be in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends in the Gathering Space of the church from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
