Well this is surreal.  Tho I knew in my heart we would lose you sooner than later?  The reality hits hard.  Especially since we are just now hearing this sad news.  Like a kick in the gut.  You have been such a huge part of our lives for nearly forty years.  So much laughter, and junking, and laughter and puppies, and laughter and sushi, and still more laughter.  Oh my gosh how high could you pile stuff in that little Toyota pickup?  You had the whole neighborhood pointing.   And that baseball player mannequin hanging off the side?  You stopped traffic more than once!   The differences in your southern ways from our yankee habits was always good fodder.  You were more like family than some legit family members.  Thanku for being Kales homegrown Uncle Marty.  I know you’re celebrating with your parents and rolling with Champ and Roxie and your countless other fur babies   Now you have all the answers my friend.  Until we get there to do it all over
again?   We will miss you forever.  Be good boy!  Save us a seat in the front row.  Xo 

Marty and I served in the Army together in 1980. He was a good friend and we were able to see each other after our tours. I spent a day visiting him in Denton a couple of years ago. He was a Brother and friend. Marty made you laugh uncontrollably at times. His love of dogs and his community was amazing. He was old fashion and would right letters versus using technology. My heart is broken for I knew of his health struggles. He would not let it effect his attitude or what he was doing. RIP my dear friend & I’ll see you soon in heaven. Rick

Marty and I met while in Korea, we were in the same platoon. Born 2 days apart, we soon realized we shared many similarities.  Altho  raised in the South, and I from the North, he never let me forget that I was a Yankee.  Marty was like a brother to me.  I miss the times that he traveled north to visit and pick stuff off the curb to sell back to Yankees who though they were getting a deal.   Miss you boy.  

I met Marty when I worked with his uncle Walter at the Ford dealership.  I liked him immediately.  We dated a few times and always had a good time.  We were in our mid/late 20’s, so it’s been a long time ago.  I laugh now, but he was always late for our dates.  I haven’t seen him in years and I was stunned to hear about his death.  God bless the family and friends he  leaves behind.

Go rest high on that mountain, old friend.

Sorry to hear about Marty, he was a good guy and a veteran. We joined the Army together and went through basic training together. He was my best man at my wedding. I haven't seen him in a few years now, and I truly regret that. Till we meet again buddy.

Andy was a sweet and kind man.  Andy was a veteran. Over the years took care of many dogs, which he loved very much and in-return they loved him back. They were his family. Andy was also known for his antique dealings, he always was looking for a bargain to buy or sell. He loved to travel and made friends wherever he was. My life was made better and a piece is missing now he is gone. Blessings on your journey my friend……..
