Virginia is survived by her two sons; Paul and daughter-in-law Shelly, David and daughter-in-law Sharon. Her four grandchildren: Justin, Mike, Trish, Jeff and wife Elizabeth. Her six great-grandchildren: Cameron, Reileigh, Ethan, Ellie, Sophie, and Wade. She is also survived by her sister Susie.
Virginia was a strong influential woman in our family and the community, while taking great pride in many personal causes dear to her heart. She was an adamant defender of her children and grandchildren while doing her best to provide positive guidance and accepting all even through our faults. She provided tireless energy to help create and maintain our local School Board with the idea of providing greater avenues for local children. She spent many hours traveling back and forth lobbing in Sacramento to acquire funding that was directly utilized in the foundation of Silver Valley High School. She was President of the PTA for many years, President of the School Board and President of the Community Service District in Yermo. Her absolute favorite volunteer cause was working with the children in the special-needs classroom. She always loved to boast about the pure joy and happiness that the children in the program provided to her and to life in general.
She built a circle of lifelong friends that became more of her extended family while being blessed to travel the world together and celebrate life's amazing gifts. This friendship meant the world to her and provided a source of strength allowing them to absorb life's occasional difficulties while always weathering any storm.
Our family will remember Grams for being the Matriarch and the foundation in our lives. The person we grew from the person we ran to for help while always keeping us grounded. She had a special ability to provide the exact love and guidance each person needed individually. WE LOVE HER and she will be missed!
