Roberta L. Taylor

Roberta “Bobbi” L. Taylor February 2, 1959 – September 3, 2017 After battling the ravages of cancer for a number of years with little complaint, Bobbi peacefully passed away at her home in Apple Valley comforted by childhood friend Christol Schur-Acinger of Linwood, KS and her spouse Juli Roberts.

Bobbi was born and raised in Kansas City, MO, she received her Bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri, Kansas City and later went on to earn a Juris Doctorate in CA. Bobbi practiced law in Apple Valley and was active in the legal community. When she wasn’t working, Bobbi was happiest planning her next travel adventure or the menu for the next gathering of her many dear friends. She enjoyed good food, good wine, and great conversations.

She is survived by and will be missed dearly by her partner of 26 years, Juli, her brother Randy Taylor of Lee’s Summit, MO, many nieces and nephews, cousins, lifelong friends, and her 2nd best boy, Jett.

A Celebration of Bobbi’s Life will be held at Sunset Hills Mortuary in Apple Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 23rd.
