Ramona Regina King

Ramona Regina King 67 of Adelanto Ca, left us on December 21,2024 when our glorious father called her home. Mona was born on July 8, 1957 to Grover C. King Jr and Velma Reed King in Louisiana. Ms. Mona married the love of her life Frank Vorish Jr. they had two sons Frank Vorish III and Ramon J. Vorish. She worked at the Four Queens Hotel and Casino for 15 years and worked at Ross Dress For Less for 3 years. Mona was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Mona has 13 Grandchildren, she will always be remembered for the way she loved people with a happy go lucky spirit.

Mona's life consisted of hosting birthday and holiday parties at home for family and friends. She truly enjoyed going to big family gatherings. Mona was a great cook. She was so grateful that Frank and Tina took over her long held tradition with family celebrations and wholesome food. Mona was passionate about her grandchildren all 13 of them, they were all loved wholeheartedly. Mona's highlight of her day was the many phone calls she received from her grandchildren daily.

Mona was a devoted christian who looked forward to attending her community church every sunday. It meant everything to her when the pastor asked her to serve as The Mother of the church, despite her health issues and limitations, she gladly accepted the most enduring role with grace. Mona lived a quiet and content life at home when she could no longer do the things that she once enjoyed doing. She accepted it knowing that she would be cared for by her son Frank. Mona was grateful that her son frank cared for her and did not leave her side.

Mona leaves behind so many people that loved her dearly, Frank Vorish Jr. her two sons Frank Vorish III, Ramon Vorish, all 13 of her Grandchildren, her Brother Grover C. King III and four Sisters Valerie (Willie) Hill, Alesia Hoffman, Robin ( Clinton Sr.) Simon and Barbara (David) Palacios., Nephews, Nieces, Aunties, Uncles, Cousins and all of her friends.

Ramona is preceded in death by her father Grover King Jr., mother Velma Reed King, grandfather John Reed, grandmother Neely Reed, father in law Frank Vorish Sr., mother in law Mary Louise Blakeney, Great Nan-nanny Louise Johnson, brother Michael King, aunts Thelma woods, Juanita Moses, Jeanie Byrd, Louise Reed, Linda Byrd and Clara Young, Uncles Robert Reed, Johnny Byrd, Ronnie Byrd and Eli Moses, Cousins Louie B, Andre Byrd, Jeffrey Moses and Billy Young.

Although Mona is no longer with us, her legacy of love, laughter and compassion will live on.
