Nicholas John Whitehall

Nicholas John Whitehall, 53, died 6th of November 2023 in Ontario, California near his home briefly after being diagnosed with cancer. His funeral service will be held Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Sunset Memorial located at 24000 Waalew Rd., in Apple Valley, California. Preceding the service he will be flown to Virginia where he will be received by Frost Funeral Home and services will be held on the 20th of November 2023. Following the Virginia service he will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Memory Park located at 19415 Lee Hwy. Abingdon, Virginia

Nicholas was born on January 24, 1970 in Fontana, California to Nita Joyce Latham and John Henry Whitehall. Nicholas accomplished a lot in his few short years on earth to include earning an Associates Degree in Administration of Justice at Victor Valley College. He went on to work at Desert View Prison for 7 years. From Desert View he became employed with the Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Prisons where he assisted in opening several institutions at the Federal Correctional Complex in Victorville, California Nicholas worked as a Lock Shop and Armory Specialist and he remained with the Bureau of Prisons for 23 years. Nicholas willingly took on the task of raising 3 stepchildren and his own biological child. Nicholas provided a loving and wholesome home for his wife and children while always putting the family first was his top priority.

Nicholas is survived by his wife, Mary Anna Whitehall, daughter, Ashley Ann Whitehall and three stepchildren, James Paul Allen, Matthew Sinclair Allen and Katherine Lindsey Allen. Nicholas is also survived by 14 grandchildren. Nicholas was a friend to all.
