Michael Burns Henderson left this world on September 24, 2021 to be with his Heavenly Father. He was a longtime Apple Valley resident that loved the desert. He began his life in Lynnwood CA in 1953. His mother always exclaimed “he was the cutest baby ever”. That earned him the nickname of the “Gerber baby” throughout his life. He developed a deep passion and love for all things on two wheels with an engine at a early age. That passion continued all his life. Mike was never far from a motorcycle. He graduated from L.A. Trade and Tech with a degree in motorcycle mechanics. He promptly went to work repairing motorcycles and eventually found his dream job as Applications Manager at Progressive Suspension in Hesperia, CA. He worked there for almost 25 years and was known as the gentle giant, rarely angry at anyone. Mike also had a passion for target practicing and Rock n Roll music. He leaves behind an amazing collection of music. Motorcycles, music, guns, friends , his dog Charger and the desert were a perfect life for Mike. He lived a well lived life with laughter, a few beers and of course many motorcycles! He left us too soon and will be missed by many. He leaves behind a brother, Gary Henderson, a sister, Diane Henderson, a brother in law, Bill Bramlette, an aunt, Lois Henderson, and many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and most importantly Charger.
Memorial Services will be December 4, 2021 at noon at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Apple Valley CA. Family and friends are
welcomed.
