Maria Isabel Romero

In loving memory of Maria Isabel Romero, at age 81, passed away on Thursday, May 9th 2019. She was born on April 28, 1938 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to Asaltacion and Anita Ruiz, one of 6 children. As a child and her young adult years, she attended school, graduated and went on to work in the City of Los Angeles. In 1960 she was married and raised her family in Lakewood, California. She retired as an Administrative Medical Assistant and settled in Apple Valley, CA. in 2005.

“Isabel” will forever be remembered and will remain in the hearts of her beloved husband David W. Romero, her 5 children David Jr., Elizabeth, Philip, Cynthia, Annette, her Daughter In-Law Raquel, her Son-In-Laws Robert Sr., Albert and Bob. Her 13 grandchildren Daisy Ann, Erik, Leonida, Philip Jr., Andrea, Austin, Robert Jr., Aaron, Aurelia, Alyssa, Arianna, Rebecca and Amanda. Her 6 great grandchildren Delilah, Dahlia, Adaline, Emilia, Quentin and baby Nickson on his way.

Isabel was loved and well known for her beautiful smile, creativity, generosity, spirituality, and strength. Her favorite hobbies were arts & crafts, crocheting, dancing, camping, baking, cooking, and planning parties.

Isabel was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother as well as a devoted sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and loyal friend to many. She may be gone on Earth but will never be forgotten.

Memorial and Funeral Services will be held on Monday June 17th, 2019

Services begin at 10:00 AM.
