It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Helen Grace Lewis, who left us on April 7, 2025 at the age of 68. A cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Helen touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth, love, and compassion.
Born on August 26, 1956 in Whittier, California, Helen was a beacon of light in the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. She devoted her life to her family, her friends, and her community. As a mother, she was nurturing, supportive, and ever-present, always putting the needs of her two sons above her own. Her love knew no bounds, and her unwavering strength and positivity was a source of inspiration to all.
As a grandmother, affectionally known as “Nana”, she was a guiding hand and a constant source of joy. Her grandchildren adored her for the stories, laughter, and comfort she provided, always making them feel cherished and safe. She embraced the role of grandmother with a tender heart, creating memories that will live on for generations to come.
Helen was also a devoted wife, having shared a life filled with love and partnership with her husband, Stan. Together, they built a family rooted in respect, understanding, and love. Their bond was one of unwavering commitment, and their journey together will be remembered with deep affection.
A friend to many, Helen had a unique ability to make everyone feel special. Her kindness, generosity, and loyalty knew no bounds. Whether offering a listening ear, a helping hand, or a warm embrace, she was always there for those in need. Her friendship was a true gift, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of calling her a friend.
Helen is survived by her two sons, Paul & Graeme Lewis, as well as numerous friends and loved ones who will carry her memory forward. Though she may no longer be with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 9:30 AM, where we will come together to celebrate her remarkable life.
Rest in peace, Helen. You will forever be loved, remembered, and missed. May our hearts find solace in knowing you've been reunited with your beloved Stan.
