She was raised by her Stepfather Norman J. Rose and her mother Lou Lilla Rose. Faye had the opportunity to live in England and travel as a child and teenager due to her stepfather serving in the United States Air Force.
On January 14th 1963 Faye married the love of her life Stanley Otto Hunter and was a devoted Navy wife.
In 1981 Faye earned an Associate in Arts degree from Palomar College in law enforcement. She furthered her education by also earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in middle Eastern history from San Diego State University in 1983 and a Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego in 1984.
Faye was a woman of faith her favorite bible verse was Psalms 91. She loved shopping, stuffed animals, reading and writing. She especially loved history and always kept up on current events around the world. She had became an avid you tube fan!! She also gave back to the community and her heritage by volunteering on the San Pascual Indian reservation in Valley Center California. Faye also had a passion for law. She worked as an independent paralegal for many years.
Faye leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 58 years of marriage Stanley Otto Hunter Sr. 5 children: Orlaunda (Arthur) Thrash of Jacksonville, Florida, Alida (Kevin) Smith of Colton, California, Stanley (Dawn) Hunter Jr. of Long Beach California, Jacinda (Sean) Kelly of San Diego, California, and Janala Ersery of Kansas City, Missouri. 23 Grand children and 6 great grand children.
Faye was proceeded in death by her parents Lou Lilla Rose, Booker T. Jones, and her stepfather Norman J. Rose.
