Ernest Chavez was born on November 7, 1936 in Socorro, New Mexico. He was a beloved resident of Apple Valley, CA who passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Our Father in Heaven on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
Ernest is survived by his wife, Florentina Chavez and his children Tina, Ernie, Dino, Susana, Luis, Alex, Ernest, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ernest is preceded in death by his loving parents Vincente Chavez and Pumusena Padilla, his brothers Flavio and Prudencio and sister's Rosela, Catalina, Isita, Mary, Pauline and his son Michael and daughter April.
Ernest worked as an automobile painter for Over 50 years. His passion was always working around cars and his garden. He enjoyed taking trips to Laughlin and New Mexico and eating his red and green chile.
Most importantly, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all.
