Barbara Kay Wall

Barbara was born in Inglewood, California, on June 11, 1938 to parents Archibald and Maude Bailor (both now deceased) and was raised in Hawthorne, California with her two brothers. She graduated from Leuzinger High School in 1956. She married Anthony Wall in 1958 and raised three children at their home in Garden Grove, California. She was active in Girl Scouts with her daughters as a volunteer, assistant leader and leader over several years. In 1987, she and her husband moved to Apple Valley to live out their remaining years. Barbara and Anthony were married for 52 years until his passing in 2010. Barbara was a member of the Cactus Wren Garden Club and volunteered with Friends of the Library until her health no longer allowed her to participate.

Barbara was a loving, giving person. She was always calm and steady and was always there for her family no matter what. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Tammy, Terri and her husband Pete, Charles and his wife Deanna, Kurt and his husband Arthur. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren, Lauren, Anthony, Ashlynn, Brandon, Amanda and Johnny. She had a great grandchild, Gabriel, whom she was never able to meet. And by Sherry, her cousin whom she loved like a sister.

Services and burial will be held at Sunset Hills Memorial Park on Friday, July 8, 2016. Sunset Hills Memorial Park is located at 24000 Waalew Road, Apple Valley, California, 92307. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Graveside service will be at 12:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
